Processing, Packaging and Handling
The extra requirements for processed food products are in standard 16.9.2 of the KRAV Standards. For multi-ingredient products, ensure that the additional requirements are complied with for each of the ingredients by using the checklists for the primary products. If additives are used they must be in accordance with the list of additives in Appendix 2 of the KRAV Standards. Some additives permitted according to EC regulation 834/2007 are prohibited.
