Verification of KRAV’s Extra Requirements

Organic products and raw materials certified under Regulation (EU) 848/2018 and produced outside Sweden may be KRAV-labelled by a KRAV-certified importer, provided the production also meets KRAV’s extra requirements throughout the entire supply chain. Compliance must be verified by an independent party. These extra requirements vary depending on the type of production, though some apply to all production types.

A certification body that certifies an operator outside Sweden under EU Regulation (EC) 2018/848 may also offer verification of KRAV’s extra requirements to that operator. Please note, however, that you may not issue a KRAV certificate unless you are KRAV-accredited.

Verification Agreement

To make things easier for your customers, you can sign a Verification Agreement with KRAV. This will ensure you receive updates when the checklists are revised, and KRAV will also promote your service for verifying KRAV’s extra requirements. KRAV offers this service free of charge.
